A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO RAISING CHILDREN AND BUILDING COMMUNITY
Anyone with a vested interest in Early Childhood Education and Care is invited to become a member of FNECN,
Members meet to connect to other early childhood professionals and early childhood advocates . We explore each others early childhood interests, strategic goals and plans, best practice and unpack current local issues that help individual members to develop and explore ideas for action.
Community Partners (Listed below) consist of representatives from key stakeholders in early childhood services in far north Queensland. Community Partners provide support to the Early Childhood Community Networks (ECCNs), the practitioner groups which share information and implement activities at a local level.
The FNECN community partners listing, incorporates a variety of children and family services stakeholders in Far North Queensland and comprises of positions within each of the following categories:
Adult Education and Professional Development; Distinguished Community Member; Early Childhood Education and Care Services; Family and Community Support; Health and Well-being; Indigenous and Multicultural Perspective; Parent and Family Engagement; Schooling and Transition; Services Supporting Children with Special Rights .
